This pub crawl involves the most spectacular pubs in Holborn and Fleet Street, all with architecturally interesting and impressive interiors, in an area at the heart of the British legal system for centuries and once the location of almost all of the national press. The pub crawl starts in one of Sam Smiths’ masterly restorations, creating an interior reminiscent of the old gin palaces, then on to one of the most awesome pubs in London, with a baronial hall, continuing to one of Fullers’ most magnificent bank conversions by the majestic Royal Courts, followed by what could be London’s oldest and most famous tavern, with its own resident dead parrot, before finishing at a quirky and distinctive Art Nouveau pub.
